Trip To The Titanic Museum
Welcome To Branson, Missouri
I had planned to visit the museum for quite some time but the timing never worked out. By some miracle, I ended up with spare time off and was able to go with a friend for the weekend drive.
Grand Staircase
The first floor of the museum is off-limits to photography but the second floor is open to it. The staircase is of course one of the best to see. A full-size replica but the wood is very cheap looking. They could not replicate the smell of the wood or the floor polish. Still, it was amazing to walk up and down it.
Memorial Wall
My favorite part of the entire museum was the memorial wall. The people aboard the ship are separated into four categories(1,2,3 and crew). The top section shows the names of the survivors. The bottom section is the names of the dead. Nothing brings about an impact such as this.
I spent the whole day in the museum and could have stayed longer. I wish more areas were photo-friendly but am thankful I was able to take photos at all. Allowing photography is new to the museum, it was forbidden earlier this year. I wish I had brought someone that believed in past lives with me, so I could have spent more time in certain areas, trying to tap into memories. The museum is well known for being haunted, though I can say Henry is not present. I called for him during my entire tour. Iām very pleased with the whole trip.
In all, I only had one breakdown in the nearly five hours I was there. I did have some areas where I became horribly dizzy. The best part of all, was that I experienced no nightmares that night.
